Hi Friends,

Summer is a great time to relax and read a good book! I’d love to share some that I’ve enjoyed with you.

This month I’m giving away three novels that are great for summer reading, so we’ll have three winners. You can choose one of these books: If I Were You by Lynn Austin, A New Shade of Summer by Nicole Deese, or On a Summer Tide by Suzanne Woods Fisher.

To enter the giveaway leave a comment below. Tell me your favorite place to read in the summer and which book you’d like to receive. Also, please let me know if you live in the US or Canada.  I’ll choose three winners on August 7, after 9:00 pm ET. This giveaway is open to US and Canadian reading friends. Canadians will receive a $15 gift card rather than a book. I’ll notify the winners by email the first week of August. Good luck!

Until Next Time ~ Happy Reading!

My favorite place to read is anytime, anywhere & under any circumstances! I’m serious! The Kindle app was such a blessing in my life so now I don’t always have to carry a book around with me, I can just read on my iPhone —while I stand in line, while I’m parked in line, while I’m riding with my people, while I’m waiting on my people, when I’m on hold on the phone, when I can’t sleep (OFTEN) & yes, I am that person who has been busted for reading while waiting for our meal after it’s been ordered! I have been dealing with with chronic pain for the past several years. Getting lost in a book is one of my best ways of dealing with non-ending, drive you crazy nerve pain. I would very much like to read IF I WERE YOU.

Wow you sure have a lot of responses but I love to read in my chair that is in the living room. The window is there and I can see everyone who comes up the driveway even deer. There are 14 bird feeders out the window also as you can tell we are bird watchers here in Iowa. When I see all those birds I wish that I fed the hummingbirds more when I lived in Ca we had a feeder but I was so busy raising 3 kids and working that the bird feeder was like the almost last on my list. When I sit in my chair my 2 chihuahuas love to sit on my lap and take a nap. So during the week the house is nice and quiet like at night. I would love to read the book by Lynn Austin if not available then any one that is. Thank you so much for offering a print book as I am battling a disease and read print only and most of the contests are ebooks Be safe and hugs

Anywhere and anytime I get more than 15 minutes alone time, I tend to put my nose in a book, or tune into one of my Audible library selections. Now, I do have a couple of ideal reading scenarios. Perhaps outdoors on a temperate, mosquito-free day, feet up, a tall glass of iced tea or lemonade to hand. Or maybe, on a cool day, cozily piled up in a favorite chair, steaming cup of something hot at my elbow. Oh, how I love to dream!!
