Thankful Stories to Lift Your Spirit

Hi Friends,

Are you looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends? However you celebrate the day, I hope you’ll find many reasons to be thankful this November. I’m thankful for the Lord’s guidance and blessing on my family, our church, and our parenting ministry. I’m thankful for the opportunity to see my books in print and for my dear reading friends! Thank you for letting me know how my books have touched your heart and encouraged you. And thanks for taking time to post your reviews. I appreciate you and hope to bring you many more stories!

Thanksgiving Celebration 2015

I enjoy featuring holiday celebrations in my novels, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are great family holidays!  I wrote Thanksgiving and Christmas scenes in Moonlight Over Manhattan and also in “A Trusting Heart,” my novella in Mountain Christmas Brides. Moonlight Over Manhattan is a contemporary, big city story, and “A Trusting Heart” is a historical novel set in Wyoming in the1880s, but both feature family relationships and romance, with faith threads woven in for encouragement.

Here’s some fun news – Mountain Christmas Brides was #7 on the Publishers’ Weekly Best Seller List for Religious Fiction last week, and it was #8 on the EPCA Fiction Best Seller List! It is available at some Sam’s Clubs around the country, although it wasn’t at my local Sam’s Club when I checked this week. Check your local Christian bookstore, or you can find easy links to order your copy at my website

I hope you’ll enjoy Thanksgiving and have a fun time with family and friends. Most of all I hope you’ll take time to reflect on the many blessings the Lord has given us and thank Him for each one. Gratitude does the heart good.

Until Next Time . . . Happy Reading,

Carrie
