My New Website!

Carrie Turansky

My daughter Melissa and I in Princeton.

Hi Friends,

I’m very excited to share my new website with you! It has been a great experience working with Matt Jones and the team at Jones House Creative to redesign my home on the web. I hope you will take some time to look around and visit the different pages. I would love to hear what you think of my new design.

My old website was designed several years ago, and it has served me well. But with my move toward writing historical books set in England, I wanted my website to reflect this new direction. I also was eager to use a Word Press design so that I could learn how to update the information myself and keep my website fresh for my readers.

I had my first “coaching” session today, and Matt was very patient as he explained how to create posts for my blog, update information on my books pages, and add photos. I think it will be fun to learn this new skill and use this blog to stay connected to my reading friends!

If you are looking for a website designer, I recommend Matt Jones and Jones House Creative: http://joneshousecreative.com. They also create book trailers, CD DVD book covers and packaging, and print design.

When you visit an author’s website what information do you hope to find? Is there something I could add that would make your time here more valuable or interesting? I would love to hear from you!

I’m so sorry this happened to you, but you have a sweet, inspiring attitude about it all. I’m thankful you have such great support from your family, friends, and church family. What a blessing! Maybe you can catch up on your TBR pile while you’re recovering. Hugs and prayers!
