Cover Reveal ~ Shine Like the Dawn

Hi Friends,
I’m excited to share the beautiful new cover for Shine Like the Dawn with you!  It releases February 21, 2017, but it’s available for preorder now.

Shine Like the Dawn

Can the light of faith and love out shine the darkness of doubt and family secrets?

Maggie Lounsbury lost her parents in a boating accident when she was seventeen. Those she trusted, including her good friend Nate Harcourt and his family, seemed to turn their back on her in her time of need, and she hardened her heart against them. Four years later she finds her father’s journal, and what she reads there makes her suspect her parents’ deaths might not have been an accident. Maggie is determined to learn the truth and see that justice is carried out for those she loved and lost, even if it means the Harcourts will have to pay the price.

Hoping to fulfill his father’s dying request, Nate Harcourt returns to his family’s large estate in Northumberland, and seeks out Maggie to pay off a debt owed to her late father. But because of a past hurt, Maggie doesn’t trust Nate and refuses to accept the money or any help from him or his family. Will Maggie overcome her distrust, reconnect with Nate, and find the answers she is seeking? Can she learn the value of mercy as well as justice? Will she open her heart to faith and take hold of trust and love again?

Shine Like the Dawn stands alone and is not part of a series, but it includes many of the elements readers have enjoyed in my past books: a vivid English historical setting, upstairs/downstairs characters, family drama, an inspiring faith journey for the hero and heroine, and two romances, plus this time you can solve the mystery with Maggie!

Thanks to Kristopher Orr, one of the talented designers at WaterBrook Multnomah and Mike Heath of Magnus creative for the photography and design, and model, Brittany Nichole Stuart, who captured the heroine so well! Don’t you just love that dress and hat?

Blessings,

Carrie

Oh my goodness Carrie! Another winner book cover! It is very striking (someone above used this term and it does fit!) with the color of the deep blue dress set against the greens in the park. I love the park setting; and it looks familiar.

I cannot wait to help you promote this book! <3
